Alex Stevenson is a true believer that things can be beautiful and useful. A contemporary furniture maker and designer with a background in graphics and illustration, she still uses images and digital media as a starting point for many of her designs, and then combines both traditional and modern techniques to create them. She is eager to make objects which are intriguing or amusing to look at, but durable enough to be used day to day. Her designs include aspects of adaptability, giving a freedom of choice to clients.
